The design is in the lengths of yarn that are woven into the cloth: this is absolutely not a mere surface print! 100% cotton, woven with top quality yarns. Wash in the machine (max 40°C).

Our ikat weavers in south India present green-and-white in 3 sizes, including huge 300x230cm (a big enough throw for most 3-seater sofas).     But don't think of this fabric only for throws or bedspreads – this fabric is versatile.

100% cotton (handloom ikat) Neatly hemmed along all edges. Machine wash; max 40°C. Avoid harsh detergents. We suggest «Ecoballs» laundry system (click here for details). Better for the fabric; better for the environment. Protect from bright sunlight. Take care that excess dyes do not transfer onto light colour fabric. Please note that the hand dyeing of these fabrics sometimes results in slight variations of colour tones. Precise colour accuracy online also depends in part on the colour calibration of computers and monitors.
